Friesian Horse Society:

The FHS has been serving North American Breeders for 20 years. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to both promote and preserve the beautiful Friesian horse through education and strict registration standards, as originated in the Netherlands for this Dutch breed. Established in 1992 as a European North American affiliate, the FHS now serves as an independent American Friesian registry that provides International registration for all Friesians with traceable lineage, with its primary goal being the breeding of pure offspring of this unique, centuries-old breed of horse.

Friesian Horse Association of North America:

The Friesian horse is very charismatic. His gentle and willing nature provides a strong base for versatile training and his intelligence leads to a rewarding partnership between horse and owner. He can be used in many different disciplines (dressage, saddle seat, pleasure riding, trail, pleasure driving, combined driving, etc.) as well as, exhibition and light draft work. His handsome appearance and animated action provide a noble “presence” in any show ring, parade, or simply in your own paddock.

The Friesian Sporthorse Association is the official registry of the Friesian Sporthorse, offering a legitimate, reputable registry option for Friesian Sporthorses worldwide.
It is our goal to encourage and recognize quality Friesian crossbreds bred especially as sporthorses, based on established sporthorse and Warmblood breeding practices and registration guidelines. We are not just another registry for Friesian crossbreds, we are a registry devoted exclusively to the Friesian Sporthorse. We will continue to build the reputation of the Friesian Sporthorse as a legitimate, reputable developing breed thru our strict Registration Guidelines, Breeding Approvals, and performance recognition.

Friesch Paarden-Stamboek:

The Royal Society Het Friesch Paarden-Stamboek has been registering Friesian horses since 1879. Its purpose is to promote the breeding of this unique horse. FPS and the foreign associations work together on a worldwide basis to encourage the breeding of purebred Friesian horses according to the regulations of FPS.
